Do you know who you are? Do you know who you really are? Most people don’t, and there are several reasons for this.
First, since childhood, people all around us try to make us into who they want us to be. If we fall short of their expectations, they criticize, ridicule, and scold us, leading us to think we are worthless. They withdraw their love, telling us indirectly that we are not worth caring about. They tell us, sometimes silently, we are "bad" and should be someone else.
Second, our sense of identity changes as we go through life because those we come into contact with, and our life experiences, change our sense of who we are. Sometimes that's good; more times it is bad.
If we fall into bad company, we may see ourselves as "good-for-nothing"; if we sit among those who are proud, we may become arrogant. If we are around those who appreciate us, we get a stronger sense of who we are or can be; if we surround ourselves with those who put us down, we get a sense that we don't deserve to be respected.
And, just for the record, when a child is exposed to the lgbTQia Trans-Queer gender-ideology it confuses their developing minds (including their own sexuality) and it destroys them by allowing them to be sexualized through sex-education, trans-queer curriculums, and gender ideology. We are allowing children to be subjected to something that is pornographic by it’s very nature to each child that it is presented to.
What we come to believe about ourselves is a powerful influence on who we think we are! You may even wonder where to go to find out who you are. Because while other people may inflate our sinful egos or crush our tender hearts, we may be utterly wrong in our view of ourselves. So, where can we turn for a true picture of our real nature?
Since GOD Almighty Created us, HE alone knows us through and through, better than we even know ourselves! HE has revealed the Truth about us in The Word. There, when studied and read IN CONTEXT, we find HIS Plan for us. HIS Truth, in its entirety.
This nature is imputed to us when we become a Child of The One, True Living GOD, and is being Created in us as we continue Trusting in HIM while HIS Holy Spirit transforms us to the identity HE intended, our true image, perfectly ours in glory. What is our True Nature? YESHUA, JESUS The CHRIST! It was HE Who taught me how to be a man through HIS example as well as The Holy Spirit.
It was also The Holy Spirit that allowed me to comprehend, in context, while showing me that my own innate design as a same-sex attracted man is not condemned by HIM or HIS Word. HE showed me that "denying self" was much different than denying my own design. Hallelujah!
Dear Heavenly FATHER, I know I fall short of living and giving YOU Glory in all that I do, and I Thank YOU for YOUR Patience, YOUR Strength, YOUR Guidance and YOUR Mighty Presence. Please grant that I may continue to discover my True Nature in YOUR Creation and my design. Please continue to allow YOUR Light to shine brightly through my every word, deed and action. Thank YOU, FATHER. Please continue to keep me and watch over me. I Praise YOU & I Glorify YOU with all that I am! I Pray to YOU, in The Name of YESHUA, JESUS The CHRIST. Amen.
